FAQs

Who are we looking to speak to?

  • People who do not have, or do not use a bank account
  • People who primarily rely on cash (e.g. do not make online payments or use a contactless card)
  • People who only recently started using a bank account and were unbanked previously

Why do we want to talk?

  • We are helping create and market a new brand who are launching a product specifically to help people who are unbanked or underbanked. To make sure this is as helpful as it can be, we want to talk to people who may benefit from it.

What kind of questions will you ask?

  • Our questions will be grouped into:
    • Basic details (such as: your age, where you live, your employment status)
    • Digital habits (such as: do you have a smartphone, what social media platforms do you use, where do you get your news from)
    • Finances (such as: how do you manage money, what are some money headaches you’d like help with, do you trust banks)

How will you use the information?

  • This is a confidential conversation. We won’t share any information with any authorities or outside parties; it’s just us on the marketing side, and then the company who are launching the product.
  • Everything you share will be used to help us understand what’s important to you and people in similar situations, so we can build something that makes a real difference. 
  • Your feedback will be completely anonymised, and if you’re uncomfortable with a line of questioning, we can simply move on to the next question.

How long will it take?

  • No more than 30-45 minutes.

How will participants be thanked?

  • For everyone who completes our research, we will send a £20 Amazon Voucher.
