Weโ€™re looking for a passionate and proven Account Manager to join the team to nurture client relationships while driving outstanding project outcomes

The Role

You will be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with creativity, precision, and strategic insight. Youโ€™ll collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, marketing, and production) to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget. Your ability to manage multiple projects, foster client relationships, and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns and creative deliverables will be key to your success.

You will be responsible for managing client accounts, collaborating closely with colleagues in marketing, design, and project management. You must be comfortable with managing time, prioritising tasks and ensuring clients always feel their objectives are on track.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the agency and assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships.
  • Understand clientsโ€™ marketing goals, challenges, and brand identity to deliver tailored marketing and creative solutions.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback.
  • Offer strategic guidance on marketing campaigns, digital strategies, and content planning.

Marketing & Project Management:

  • Input to, and influence, multiple creative and marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget and with well oiled efficiency both internally and with our clients.
  • Manage marketing retainers, ensuring the delivery of ongoing digital and content marketing services.
  • Brief and collaborate with creative, digital, and marketing teams to translate client needs into compelling campaigns.
  • Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, making necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, PPC, and content marketing.

Strategic Input & Campaign Development:

  • Work with marketing and strategy teams to develop impactful marketing and content strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Proactively pitch new marketing initiatives and services to clients, contributing to business growth.
  • Support the development of proposals, marketing reports, presentations, and performance reviews.

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage project and retainer budgets, including estimating, tracking, and reconciling costs.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and assist in forecasting revenue from existing accounts.
  • Monitor and report on the ROI of marketing initiatives, ensuring measurable success for clients.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between internal teams and clients.
  • Provide regular project status updates.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering insights based on client goals and market trends.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging digital marketing and social media technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in account management, preferably in an agency environment.  
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering successful creative and marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute creatively to client campaigns.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Productive, Asana, Monday.com, Trello) and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with creative production processes, including digital, print, social, and video.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with high-profile brands and clients.
  • Understanding of marketing analytics, reporting tools, and performance tracking (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Knowledge of branding, content strategy, and conversion optimisation.
  • Experience managing marketing retainers and recurring client work.
