We’re looking for a passionate, proven Account Manager to join the creative and marketing team, nurturing client relationships while driving outstanding project outcomes.

The role

You will be the primary strategic partner for our clients, ensuring their brand objectives are met with high-level creativity, precision, and commercial insight. You won’t just manage tasks; you will interrogate briefs, identify market opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, and production) to architect campaigns that move the needle.

By deeply understanding a client’s business model and ‘pain points’, you’ll be perfectly positioned to devise full-funnel marketing strategies and implementation plans that hit the mark. Having a balance of creative flair and analytical rigour is essential for shaping campaign success. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership:

  • Act as the primary strategic liaison, building deep, long-term partnerships based on trust and results.
  • Devise and present comprehensive marketing strategies, from brand positioning and content ecosystems to lead-generation roadmaps.
  • Offer proactive guidance on digital trends to help clients stay ahead of the curve in a crowded marketplace.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth by aligning eighteen73’s diverse service offering with client business goals.

Marketing & Creative Management:

  • Brief and inspire our creative and digital teams, translating complex client needs into clear, actionable, and inspiring creative directions.
  • Oversee the execution of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring the brand voice remains consistent across SEO, PPC, social, and web.
  • Monitor project timelines and resource allocation with “well-oiled” efficiency, ensuring we deliver premium work on time and within scope.

Performance & Insight:

  • Work with strategy teams to define KPIs and success metrics for every project.
  • Analyse campaign performance data to provide clients with meaningful insights and “what’s next” recommendations.
  • Support the development of high-impact proposals, performance reviews, and pitch presentations.

Financial & Commercial Oversight:

  • Manage project and retainer budgets, ensuring profitability through accurate estimating and tracking.
  • Facilitate clear communication between internal departments to ensure commercial objectives are met.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering a “client-first” perspective rooted in market data and trends.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in account management with a heavy focus on marketing strategy.
  • Strong strategic thinking: the ability to build a marketing plan from scratch and defend creative decisions with data.
  • Marketing fluency: demonstrating deep understanding of the digital landscape, including performance marketing, content strategy, and brand architecture.
  • Exceptional communication: you must be a “people person” who can simplify complex technical or creative concepts for clients.
  • Organisational proficiency: with a background in managing complex retainers and recurring marketing services, with knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Productive, Asana) to keep multiple accounts moving simultaneously.
