Orphans Press is pleased to announce the launch of eighteen73, a performance-driven creative, digital and marketing agency which will be based at its premises on Leominster Enterprise Park.
Helen and Andy Bowden originally took the reins of Orphans Press in 1997 and have since expanded the range of services far beyond commercial printing. It is this growth that has prompted the launch of eighteen73, as Helen Bowden, managing director, explains:
“ The agency side of our business now encompasses everything from the creation of new brands and the development of highly technical web solutions through to targeted marketing campaigns and even TV ads. With an impressive portfolio of work under our belt, we felt the time was right for the agency to shape its own destiny. And so, eighteen73 has been born.
We’re very much rooted in Herefordshire and will be flying the flag for the county’s creative businesses to show that stand-out agencies with big ideas don’t need to be in big cities. Ultimately, by launching an independent agency, we are looking forward to helping more brands to do brilliant, beautiful things which have meaningful results.”
eighteen73 will continue to work closely with sister companies Orphans Press and Orphans Publishing and the agency name very much connects the three businesses.
Helen continues; “Orphans Press was established in 1873 so we wanted to lean into this heritage, as it is an important part of our story, whilst also demonstrating that we are very much an agency for the moment and definitely here for the future.”
eighteen73’s clients include allpay, Diageo, SheerLuxe, Radnor Hills Mineral Water, Visit Herefordshire, Royal Society of Sculptors and Edward Bulmer Natural Paint.
